NBS designs and manufactures smart custom lithium primary battery packs and chargers for a variety of applications. Lithium primary non-rechargeable cells are available in three major chemistries:
- Lithium Thionyl Chloride, (Li-SOCl2)
- Lithium Manganese Dioxide (Li-MnO2)
- Lithium Sulphur Dioxide (Li-SO2)
Lithium primary cells are found in a variety of electronic devices for handheld devices, remote meters, security equipment, computers, and military equipment. Lithium primary cell chemistries typically operate in very low current drain applications, and extreme temperature environments where very long life is required. Special high rate / high temperature lithium primary cells are also available.
